“拥抱就不说话”艺术展揭幕仪式暨《汾酒艺术之夜》顺利举办!

加中资讯网2023年3月3日讯 由汾酒赞助的“拥抱就不说话” 艺术展于2月25日在多伦多Villa Charities慈善中心(901 Lawrence Ave W, North York)举行《汾酒艺术之夜》开幕典礼。

出席《汾酒艺术之夜》开幕典礼的嘉宾有联邦国会议员蒋振宇、多伦多市议员陈伶俐、列治文山市市议员崔冰辉、Villa Charities慈善基金会主席兼CEO ,President and CEO of Villa Charities Marco DeVuono,Villa慈善中心发展总监Francesco Riondino先生,加拿大上海商会姚颖会长等百余人。国会议员董晗鹏亦派送贺函恭贺展出成功。

该画展展览的主题是“拥抱就不说话”。正式展出时间是2023年2月24日 – 至3月13日。展出地点:Villa Charities(901 Lawrence Ave W)10am-5pm。

展出的作品均由来自中国才华横溢的四位年轻艺术家Artists(袁子涵 Zihan Yuan、颜秉卿Bingqing Yan、谢天卓Tianzhuo Xie、方建喜 Jianxi Fang)在疫情期间创作,反映了艺术家对当前生活的个人和碎片化的感受和思考。

“汾酒艺术之夜”主持人

我们平均每个人每天会花7个小时在互联网上,6.5亿条推文被快速的生产,又在第二天快速过期。我们都被裹挟在这个巨大的浪潮里。The latest statistics show that each person spends an average of 7 hours per day on the internet, where billions of tweets are rapidly produced and just as quickly forgotten. We are all caught up in this tidal wave of information.

所以人类都不得不面临一个巨大的状况。一方面,海量的咨询导致很多成熟的语言体系慢慢变的无效,不工作。最后形成认知和趣味上的鸿沟。在过去,这也许需要两代人的时间的更迭,而现在仅仅需要几个月,甚至几天。We all humans now find ourselves facing a significant challenge. On one hand, the sheer volume of information has caused many of our language systems to become clogged and ineffective, creating gaps in our understanding and cultural experiences. In the past, it might have taken generations for these changes to take place, but now it can happen in mere months, or even days.

另一方面,有了互联网的加持,人与人,国与国之间的对立越来越普遍和尖锐。一场场狭隘又冲动的网络语言暴力层出不穷。而分歧的源头大多来自于文字自身的局限性。正如維特根斯坦提出經典的“鴨兔頭”案例,我們總是為了是鴨子還是兔子爭論不休。On the other hand, the internet has amplified tensions between individuals and individuals, nations and nations. A surge of narrow-minded and impulsive online language violence is constantly emerging. These divisions often stem from the inherent limitations of language itself. Just as Wittgenstein presented the classic "duck-rabbit" case, we always argue over whether it is a duck or a rabbit.

這讓我們不禁思考當語言在逐漸失去它的功效,

當話語權逐漸被網路寡頭所壟斷,

當我們說的越多錯的越多時,

我們要如何與他人溝通,又如何與當下世界連結?

This leaves us a question:

as language gradually loses its effectiveness,

as the power of speech is gradually monopolized by a few,

as the more we express, the more misunderstanding we make

How do we connect and communicate with others and the world around us?

本次畫展彙聚了四位優秀的青年藝術家的作品。當中的作品很多都創作於疫情期間,其中包含了藝術家對於當下生活的個人化,碎片化的感受和思考。畫展初衷是希望我們放在執念,成見,在藝術中找到鏈結我們與世界的深刻情感。This art exhibition brings together the works of four outstanding young artists. Many of the works were created during the pandemic, reflecting the artists' personalized and fragmented perspectives and experiences about current life. The intention of the exhibition is to encourage audiences to put aside preconceptions and biases and discover a profound emotional connection with the world through the medium of art.

展出的作品無論是在尺幅上,形式上,還是材料上,都從不同的角度表達了對當下事物的關注和善意。作品的材料包括綜合材料、版畫、水墨畫,坦培拉。從藝術到當下生活,我們試圖通過畫展傳遞溫暖治癒的情緒,以及包容的態度。畫展不僅可以讓觀看者能夠從不同的角度和文化立場來體驗藝術,同時也通過將中國優秀的青年藝術家引介到加拿大主流文化來促進文化交流。The works displayed in this exhibition, regardless of their scale, form, or mediums, all express a heartfelt concern and care for the current state of things from different perspectives. From art to current life, we aim to convey warm and healing emotions, as well as an inclusive attitude. This exhibition not only enables viewers to experience art from different perspectives and cultural stand point, and also boosts culture exchanges at the same time by introducing these outstanding Chinese young artists to the Canadian mainstream culture.

加拿大青年藝術家協會,作為展览主办方,其執行策展人袁子涵ZihanYuan先生致力於創作真擊且充滿態度的藝術作品。作為加中文化藝術協會的創始人,他致力於推廣多種類型的年輕藝術家在多倫多地區,並為中國和加拿大藝術的發展做出貢獻。The Canada Chinese Artists Association and its exhibitor Zihan Yuan are devoted to creating artwork with authenticity and attitude. As the founder of the Canada Chinese Artist Association, Zihan is dedicated to promoting young artists of various genres in the Toronto area and contributing to the development of both Chinese and Canadian art.

In the past few years, the world has undergone dramatic changes in politics, economics, and culture, leading to significant transformations in people's lives. The "Hugging Without Talking" art exhibition seeks to capture the personal and fragmented thoughts and feelings of contemporary life from a compassionate and objective perspective.

过去的几年,全球的政治,经济,文化在短时间内发生了翻天覆地的变化。每一个人的生活也在发生重大的改变。“拥抱就不说话”艺术展初衷是希望可以以包容客观的视角记录当下生活的一些个人化,碎片化的思考和感受。

From Géricault 's " The Raft of the Medusa " to Jiang Zhaohe's " Picture of Refugees," there have been many magnificent works in both the East and West depicting disasters and suffering. These works have been valued for their ability to help us understand the past, whether out of the idea of criticism and admonishment or the purpose of struggle and outcry.

从藉里柯的《梅杜萨之筏》,到蒋兆和先生的《流民图》,对灾难和苦难的描绘在中西方都曾有过精彩的作品。无论是出于批判训诫的想法还是挣扎呐喊的目的,这些作品都因可以帮助我们了解过去而获得重视。

 

Today, we are facing a huge dilemma. In the past two decades, our technological knowledge and information seem to have given us the confidence to control and intervene in the world, yet disasters have become more frequent, and the fear arising from them has gradually spread from individual victims to the masses. This sharp contradiction has gradually manifested itself, not only in the scale changes of social governance, but also in the mentality of the general public. We hope to dissolve the limitations of simple voices and written language through outstanding works, and to find deeper emotional connections in art, so that we can refocus our tense mentality on those fragile experiences that we once ignored and quickly forgot.

现如今我们正面对一种两难的巨大矛盾中,近二十年的时间中,我们的科技知识信息似乎给予了我们自信去控制和干预这个世界,而另一方面灾难却越发频繁,灾难衍生的恐惧从受灾个体逐渐扩散到群体。这种对立的尖锐性逐渐显现,不仅反映在社会政府的尺度变化,也影响了广大人群的心态变化。我们希望可以通过优秀的呃作品消解简单的声音和文字语言的限制,在艺术中寻找到更深刻的情感链接,将我们紧绷的心态重新聚焦在那些曾经遭到我们置之不理,随即被遗忘的脆弱体验上。

Art exhibitions play an important role in documenting, questioning, and reflecting on society. The "Hugging Without Talking" exhibition takes the past year or two as a "slice" of contemporary life, focusing on warmth, compassion, and healing. The works, expressed in different forms, sizes, and materials, convey a profound concern and goodwill towards contemporary life, inviting the viewer to embrace the present moment without words。

艺术展览的很大作用在于纪实,提问和反思。“拥抱就不说话”艺术展很大程度是以最近一两年的时间作为“切片”,以温暖治愈为主线,创作背景贯穿不同风格与文化。作品在尺幅,形式,材料等不同维度表达了对当下生活的关注和善意。
